He started well but both the races this season he's qualified a whole lot better than he's raced. He actually had a killer start in the Malaysia race but both the incidents he was involved in could have been avoided, which was somewhat the story with Matech. When he crashed the car during practice at Le Mans, it was pretty clear that he was out there at max effort instantly. He was on such a blistering pace so quickly it was inevitable something would go wrong. Once he settles in, he definitely has the pace to be in the points at every race.

Finally got on the podium. Both the Lotus cars were blisteringly fast on the straights and Grosjean ended up 3rd. Good to see him translate his pace in qualifying into a quality finish. Horrible day for McLaren with Hamilton's awful pit stops and Button ending up in the garage. At the start it looked like it was going to be Vettel circa 2011 winning by 15 seconds but it ended up being about 3.

Good season so far. 4 races, 4 winners from 4 teams.

What a shame! Had a real shot at winning today and did some outstanding driving. Grosjean was in 2nd deep into the race when he had an electrical failure that ended his day. He definitely could have made it interesting the last ten laps. Either way, he's having a very good season of driving, and a not so great season of bad luck.
