Yes legal name vs forum name or handle. Obviusoly 06fordgt is not my legal proper name. I would prefer my true legal name for on the card in the window. I assume most would want the same.

You know, I'm not sure but when I first started pushing the idea of becoming a sponsor of the Matech Team and putting our name on the side of the race car, I think DBK thought I was nuts. In today's tough economy even I thought it was a long shot. I am involved with two other automobile forums and I can assure you that their membership would not have responded in this fashion. Today, I have absolutely no doubt that when the flag drops on this year's 24 Hours of LeMans's, the "Ford GT Forum" will leave the starting line proudly displayed on the side of the first Ford GT to compete in that most historic race since 1969. It's not having our name on the side of that car that excites me as much as the idea that we have played a small part in supporting the team's effort.
Time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears are all components that make a race car go fast. But no component is more important than money. Cash is the mother's milk that makes airplanes fly, boats float, and fast cars faster. Every member of this Forum who has contributed can take enormous satisfaction, whether you are there with us in person or watching it on TV, knowing that you helped take one of the 4038 modern Ford GTs back to LeMans. Bravo to the Matech crew, the drivers, and the sponsors! :cheers
