Mark, Kevin and Patrick have paid a huge amount of dues over the past several years running their GT in the mile. Their hard work and determination have continued to payoff and the results speak for themselves. There is no other car remotely close to where they are now. And the idea of a 300 mph standing mile car is now a distinct possibility. All from an otherwise stock body FGT with a group of guys who just keep kicking ass. Congrats guys and so great to see you all at the TX Mile.

The last 18 will come harder than the first 282. What ideas do you have to get there?

I would have replied that I am fully aware that drag rises roughly as a square of speed, so that additional gains get exponentially harder. But since the next post after yours announced they hit 293, I'd just say, Mark and team, keep doing what you're already doing!
