When Rob said he was going with Jim and driving down from WA Thursday/Friday, and did I want to join? I said heck yeah! I figured I'd just buy a general admission ticket and go see the new FGT Mk4. But when I look on the Velocity web site I don't see anything about the MK4 reveal, just tickets for general admission, parking, wine tasting passes, VIP passes etc.

Question for those going: Does one need an invitation or reservation or something like that to attend the MK4 reveal? If we show up in a Ford GT, is there any parking near the MK4 or do we just buy a ticket for general or corral parking? are there any MK4 events? I'd hate to drive almost 700 miles to get there and not get to attend the MK4-specific events.

PeteK - look at my post on page 2. The MK IV photo ad from Velocity Invitational has the answers to some of your questions. As far as where to park you'll have to ask the people at the Ford display but you'll probably have to be there early if it is a possibility. Gates open at 7am & event starts at 8:30am.

A few pics of BBRGT’s car from Laguna. Awesome machine and it was really cool to be able to watch it fly around the circuit! Impressive driving in a machine that’s literally substantially faster than the GTE-Pro car was!
