... the Midnight Blue is by far the most spectacular color in the right light. It's a very normal blue until the sun is out, at which point it just explodes. If I lived in a state without perpetual road construction, I'd have picked it.

Ah-Haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
There you have it! The definative word on the subject from the head man himself! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup
'Guess THAT ought to put to rest all the, "what's the best color", debate!!!:rofl:rofl:rofl

No. I live in Florida but from Michigan origially and get back up for a while every summer.

The Gulf blue looks great with the Gulf oil logo and the other logos but the wife would not be thrilled. Now leaning toward blue/white. Love the black/silver but keeping it clean is more work. Which probably means I'll buy whichever one works out.

The Master Spoke?????????????

What a bunch of style whimps.

Word smithing the blue/black/red thingy for fun and future profit.

Truth be known the metallic partials in the Tungsten re-align themselves at higher speed and and reduce surface drag by a considerable amount.

And as an added bonus the time to be spotted is over 30 seconds later than the "fancy" colors. Officer Johnson of the Texas Highway Patrol confirmed that to me last January in West Texas. No tickee - whew!

Truth be know the Chrome Candy Apple GTX1 is the peoples choice color award winner. No Whining allowed.

DBK didn't mince his "opinion" on his favorite color, but promoting him to GT Master is a huge stretch. Guru maybe, wizard would be o.k. but Master - not.
After all we all know that the Lady F rules their roost.:bow

I have a blue and it's a great color for not looking dirty. I clean the wheels 3 or 4 times in between every car wash.

I was looking at DBK's white/blue Ford GT in the Autozone parking lot one night during the Woodward dream cruise. Next thing I know someone has hit the remote to turn on the interior lights so I could see better. Then he comes over, opens the door and asks me if I would like to sit in it. Talks to me about the cars for a good while and even started the engine so I could hear the aftermarket exhaust. (What kind did you say that was? I thought it sounded great). Not many people would go so far out of their way to be nice, especially when Woodward was overrun with people and I had to be the thousandth person to look at the car.
At any rate, I've decided to buy a GT. Just need to figure out whether I go with black/silver (my favorite at the moment), blue/white or white/blue. My only hesitation on the black is that its hard to keep clean and I hope to drive the car alot. Do people find that the blue still looks good when its not perfectly clean?
Thanks again!
Jeff

My advise...Buy one in each of your favorite colors!!! Good Luck, hope to meet you soon, as we're not far from you in Ohio.:cheers

Midnight Blue...

I have to agree with DBK. My Midnight Blue and white is out in the garage. Looks like I will have to log-off and go to the garage, turn on the big lights and marvel.
