I like the Pantera's too. That is nice! Right color and everything. The Mangusta's are a rare bird.

Quoting this Wikipedia article.

The Mangusta was relatively inexpensive for the time but, with a 32/68 weight distribution and a less than solid chassis, suffered from stability problems and poor handling. The car was also cramped and had extremely low ground clearance.

From the design it is really nice, but hey it is from Giorgetto Giugiaro

I had an old 61 pontiac I bought to drive in the snow...called it the mangusta. Wife hated it.

Also had a 71 white panera like the picture above. Wife hated it too until I sold it, and then missed it. She doesn't like the GT either but guess who would get sold first?

Saw my first Mangusta when I was 9 years old.
Fell in love!
Now have a 1971 push button Pantera that I spent 5 years of my life on.
That was many years ago and the car, may be, now, to radical for us "old" folks.
Even with a removable wheel, I literally have to sit on the pavement and move myself into the seat(Thank you so much hi bolster race seats!).
Still, we drive it many times a year, and it's a lot of fun!
Thanks for the post.
Best,
Mark

Best use of a mangusta in a vid. I think.

Agreed. I have a Pantera but would LOVE to get a Mangusta to add to the garage.
