I've been sniffing around about a year. I'm still looking fora nice Heritage to buy. Any leads would be appreciated. I'm 6'6' so would like to add a bubble and do the seat modification when I do buy one. I have seen a few recently but none I see for sale right now. Let me know what you guys see.

Yep, metalman has a beautiful Heritage for sale. I was just out last week to detail it again. Here are some pictures of it when I detailed it another time, a little over a month ago:

There's a Heritage GT in Wisconsin, 3.2 miles, hermetically sealed in a cocoon, that was listed for sale at $297k.

I'm not sure if it was on a MSO. Had all of the usual goodies and some fairly unusual advertising and dealer only lit.

Just call Shelby, Bernie, or Marv (all forum sponsors). I'm sure they can find you one and take the risk out of buying it sight unseen.

$160,000 with 500 miles sounds pretty good to me, for a heritage.
But I know of someone who paid $162,000 new, so maybe it's not.

You could buy them for $162K new, but try and buy a new one now for that. That was then and this is now. And The Heritage you mention has 11K miles.....500 on the tires.

NY Metro Area
2006 heritage

A personal friend purchased one yesterday from the Miami area for 170K......car had 174 miles on it...with axel bolts and a service done. All paperwork as expected.......The prior owner paid 196K from a Ford dealer there....

So, where are the deals? Except for one NY car that was a REAL STEAL of a DEAL...where are these cars?.....

Metalmans car has 12k miles, not 500. If there is one with 500 miles for $160k, please point me in that direction as I will buy it without hesitation! :thumbsup

P.S. Metalmans car LOOKS like it has 500 miles on it. He takes VERY good care of her!

I think you mis-read his post. His rear TIRES have 500 miles, NOT the car.....

I'm offering my Heritage for sale. It is pristine; no stories, one owner perfect car located north of Chicago.

1. 11k miles, new (500 miles) tires.

Asking $160,000, If you're interested, email me at tdevito@dynacoil.com

You are correct. One that has had previous damage. Please read description. States previous paint work, body work. Car fax reflects this. I am VERY familiar with the car. Know the guy that wrecked it. :frown
Dont want to mis-lead a potential buyer that a good no stories Heritage with 500 miles is available for $160k as its not reality (at-least not what I have seen).

The Heritage on Ebay has paintwork and repairs, it's stated in the listing. My Heritage is perfect, no issues ever. I listed it on the Forum 4 months ago and since no serious buyers have stepped up, I've lost interest in selling, so my Heritage is no longer available.

Multiple offers were made on my Heritage, several were close to my asking price and I declined all and would not let it go for less than $160k. So the market right now is that a 12k mile Heritage cannot be had for less that $160k.

If the car on ebay was a TOTAL LOSS CLAIM, how can it have a clear title now? Is this guy laundering titles?

Just a follow up on the previous damaged Heritage on ebay. I dont want to mis-lead anyone. The car was NOT damaged that bad. Was 95% percent cosmetic. I actually dont think it should have been paid off by the insurance company, but luckily for the previous owner it was, as he did not want to keep it and have a fixed 500 mile heritage. From what saw in pics, etc, the car has a bent rear fender (which called for a NEW clamshell which are like $20k+ now), a new front bumper cover, rear bumper and a few odds and ends. By far NOT one of the worse I have seen. Just wanted poster to realize that this is NOT a "no stories" 500 mile heritage. To the right guy, it will be a bargain and save them $20k+

Not from what I understand about the wrecked car market. An insurance company can pay an owner off on a car and not stamp the title as SALVAGE if the damage was not significant. Again, this car (from everything I have seen and been told) was really not that bad and did not call for an insurance total payoff. The original owner just yelled at the right people and got the insurance company to pay him off and take the car. This happens quite often believe it or not. He is disclosing the previous damage in his ad which in my opinion is the correct thing to do. Dont think he is misleading anyone from what I can see.

I am on vacation this week (staying at home) and I brought the Heritage out of "mothballs". It was uncovered first time in over 1 year has only 672 miles.

It was like unwrapping the best gift ever! The Heritage colors are beautiful and very unique.

P.S. Mine is NOT for sale, but you have made a great choice in cars. Hope you get one soon:thumbsup
