My daughter-in-law was driving home last night from work and an elderly couple changed lanes without looking and she ran the Lightning up on a curb and ruined a rim and tire. It is a stock 2002 Ford Lightning rim, steel with 5 spokes, aluminum color. Part locator online found one for $633 which is about $500 more than what Ford had listed when they were in stock.

Any ideas on how else to find one? Will do the Ebay thing, but dont hold much hope for that source.

There are some junkyards online that you may get lucky with.

If you google search "2002 ford lightning used wheels" tons of places will come up. The first ones (e.g., www.newwheel.com) are remanufactured originals, not aftermarket.

I contacted this place about selling them some used wheels that I don't need any more. They have Lightning wheels listed

I would check the Lightning owner's website. Many have taken off the factory rims (a shame imo) and should be a bunch just sitting in garages collecting dust.

Factory take off wheels from a 2002 Ford Lightning ( authentic ) sold truck with aftermarket wheels on it and still have these. Some light scratches but can be polished out or powdercoated . Asking $400. Also have factory (altezza style but real deal) headlights & tail lights from same truck. If interested let me know. Email me a phone number thru CL & I'll call or text back. Thanks

Location: Bartlesville OK

I believe the above was on the Tulsa craigslist. I would offer about $200 if I wanted them.

Many thanx for the ideas. Found one for a little over $200 if we need it. My son is pretty good with his hands, worked on the damaged one last night with a heavy hammer and shaped piece of hardwood and thinks he has it fixed. I wish I was as good with my hands as he is with his.

You can have it professionally repaired for about $150. Wouldn't repair a structurally damaged wheel though. Those 4 above might be worth making an offer on...just for spares.
