Great news, my only concern. After that, I'm ready to buy one.

Still good to sit in one and drive if can

I'm 6'5" so I need to make 100% sure before buying I can be somewhat comfortable before buying.

Before climbing in, move the seat FORWARD a couple of clicks to you can then turn the knob to recline the seat back. It seems a little counter intuitive to move the seat forward - but you'll need to do that to get the recline. You'll fit and the GT will be comfortable. You'll probably lean back a bit more than you would in other cars, but it will work.

That method worked for me with a helmet.

05-06 like a Lincoln Town Car compared to NGT for tall guys—but I ain’t complaining.

No longer showing on ebay, now seems to be listed at RM Sotheby’s Indiana auction in May.

I'm looking for a 2006 blue ford GT in immaculate condition. Preferably less than 1000 miles. Would you guys have any leads for it?

My suggestion, seriously, is buy a higher (more than 1000) mile car, save a bundle and spend a fraction of that bundle on a great, not good, a GREAT detailer.

A great detailer is like having a Cosmetic Doctor who never lets you age.

The materials the cars were built with like the excellent paint, high quality interior metals and leather, engine compartment and other exposed components all clean up very well.

A friend who showed his car at Pebble once said, "I may not have the best car, but I have the best detailer". His trophy proved him right.

45k miles here and still amazed how good our car looks!20170118_172944_resized.jpg

I was thinking the same thing...get a good/great car and drive it some and then fix/upgrade/detail out the issues that bother you.

As an aside, except for the glamour of bidding against drunk aluminum siding magnates, I don’t understand buying at TV auctions. Yesterday, I spent several hours watching Bonhams waiting for Iacocca’s Viper to sell. Cars were getting crushed on price, many went unsold and those that sold included heavy buyer premiums. Unless it’s a car you can’t find anywhere else, I don’t get it, particularly in the internet age and so many brokers out there.
It went for a nice premium. You should have bought it to put beside your Lutz car!! You car is SN 3?? So whose car was 2??

After totaling my bought new 2005 Yellow all option GT i searched on line for a close as possible replacement. Found one in the northwest with standard wheels and black calipers. 1400 miles and every document possible. 275K Very happy.

Same with mine. A friend was in my garage the other day and he thought it was brand new. I only have 9k but man it looks sooooo nice in midnight blue.
