good job on taking the pictures. i used to work for (removed by bony) Ford. i sold cars there. contact fords customer service( which has a satisfaction of about 98% with customers). then ask to speak with a supervisor about an issue and say thats its very important. tell the representative they dont have the authority to make a decision and thats why you want to talk to the supervisor.they should be able to send a Ford rep out to you to inspect it. or have you take it somewhere to meet a Ford rep. hope this helps some.

Thanks to all those who contributed to this thread

I took my GT to Friendly Ford in Springfield, MO this AM and they have created GT-specific ramps to get our low cars on their lift. They have a service writer that deals specifically with GTs, and their tech was extremely careful with the car when working on it. The good news is that only the inner wheel well and belly pan got damaged with the improper lifting at the first dealership. The service manager came by more than once to see how things were going and just to chat. Very "friendly." Both he and Jeff had seen the pics I had posted on the forum.

Thanks to Rich for offering to help on his way from AZ to MI, and to Automotiv8r for his input on Friendly Ford, and to the others who shared about their experiences and what to look for, be concerned about, and not.

I see we also have CSX's in common, I have 4044, the IN 'N Out Burger Cobra. Got it 10 years ago but dont drive it as much now with the GT in the stable. Fun car, but my wife really doesn't like riding in it, and she really likes the GT.
