Yes, I know there was already a thread about this car elsewhere, but I made a new thread. On the plus side, I have lots of pictures!
The Concours D'Elegance of America was last weekend at the Inn at St. John in Plymouth, Michigan, which is about 1 mile form my house.
GT40 was the featured marque, so we figured there'd be a nice selection of cars, and we were not disappointed!
The Liquid Grey one from Le Mans was there, flanked by two GT40 MKIVs, chassis #J5 - #1 the red 1967 Le Mans winner that normally resides at the Henry Ford Museum and #J6 - #2 Yellow #2 that came in 4th place at Le Mans in 1967 and is currently owned by Jim Glickenhaus. There was also a MKI and MKII in the display as well.
There were FOUR Doran MKVIIs, there, too - the Robertson's three cars (two are original Doran cars, 1 is an extra car built from a spare GT tub) and another that just recently surfaced, in original Doran Spec.
Superformance was there too with a display, and a handful of MKI and MKII replicas.
