License Plates

As a new owner I'm in the process of getting license plates for my car. Colorado has numerous "specialized" license plates with various messages. My blood father died in Vietnam and my adoptive father served in Korea. As such I'm a strong supporter of our military and thought that this plate could not be more fitting or great looking on my car. Seven characters are available and I was thinking BLOWNGT. I know it's cheesy :biggrin

I like it! I'm sure BLOWNGT is already taken by one of the Mustang minions. Not that original either I guess lol.

Part of the idea at least for me is to select something that will ingratiate myself with law enforcement. You never know when you will meet them out and about lol. I'm not sure that would be the ticket for getting a break :)

I know what ya mean. Sadly at 37 years old, i'm still just a kid. And I get even worse behind the wheel of the ole' hotrod.

How about "BOOSTED" or "2HI PSI"

It didnt look as cool as I pictured it in my head but I have "9SON17S" on the '86

Mine says BNK RUP. Texas is now allowing 7 letters. I'm thinking YO DADDY or CLG FUND (College Fund). IM SINGL (I'm not... but hey):wink

This is my 66 Shelby GT 350 license. For those of you who have forgotten your chemistry, Pb is the chemical symbol for lead. My daughter's license on her red mustang was LILPBFT. Have not gotten a personal one for the GT yet.

Luke Warmwater:

Sorry to hear about your dad. Brings back memories. I served with the USAF in both Vietnam and Korea.

How about if they were both Army. "GO ARMY"

If one was Navy and the other Army. "USA USN"

You get the idea. With 7 letters you can even use one USMC, and AF for USAF

Also many law enforcement officers have served in the military. :biggrin
