Had a real thrill today, visited GT40 Godfather Roy Lunn with Xcentric for a photo shoot at his home. I've taken Roy on as a client and will be working with him and his family to preserve his archives for the future. He's had incredible careers at Ford, doing the Mustang 1 Concept, all the GT40s, from the Lola-Ford GT to the Mark IV, and American Motors, creating the first unibody SUV ('84 Cherokee) and first four-wheel-drive car (Eagle) and getting the Humvee certified for military duty. After the shoot, he said, "Let's Do Lunch" and asked me to drive him to the Lakewood Ranch Country Club in my Tungsten GT. He loved it and talked about it feeling like a GT40! Gary Jean( in photo with Roy) and I had a wonderful day! Roy recently celebrated his 90th birthday!
