Let's bring the GT Guys to Florida (2nd attempt)

I arrived at Gary's house at 8:00 this morning. The GT Guy's are amazing to watch and know these cars so well. By 11:30 all three belts replaced, brake fluid, clutch fluid, antifreeze, oil and filter, all changed out. They also installed a new temp gauge that I brought. They double check everything and even tidied up the insides of my wheels. Not going to get that at the local Ford dealer. If the "GUYS" get near where you live, I'd highly recommend them, but most people on the forum know that already.

Gary's garage is nicer than most shops (certainly cleaner) and it was really nice of him to host the GT Guys. Gary is a great guy despite anything Sinovac might say about him. Got to see Howard this morning too as he arrived with his tungsten GT for some work.

Gary took some pictures so maybe he will post one.

Yikes. Is chiseling required to remove our windshields? Seems drastic.

Ditto on that. Necessary to break the adhesive?
What seat cover do you have there, Gary?

GT Shop Manual special tools: Rotunda Interior Auto Glass Cut-Out Knife Kit or equivalent. This guy's sawzall is the equivalent.

Ed, that is just a protective cover the GT Guys use while working in the car.

We don't need a lift to service cars. We don't even need a garage to service cars.

Gary and Amy, Thanks so much for opening up your home for all of us to get together and talk GT stuff as the Pro's get everyone's wish lists complete. Although I didn't have a GT down in Florida this year you both insisted I attend your GT Guy event and make myself at home. Your hospitality is much appreciated and truly was over the top. Especially compared my the GT Guy events that I have put on in the past  You both have set the bar to an unreachable platform:cheers Thanks again!

Sorry I missed you Rick...Maybe next year

More photos of the GT Guys in action are coming, but I will post a link to my website rather than upload them here.

Thank you Gary and Amy for hosting this. The food and company were, as always, great. It was very nice to meet you John (pe2unia).

Same here Paul....Your bumper delete looks awesome

Thanks for all the pictures. Makes you feel like you were there with everyone.

Sorry to have missed meeting you too John. Hopefully we can get another one put together next year if enough people are interested. Sounds like the Saturday crew had a good time. At least I got to see Howard on Friday. Can't wait to hear how he likes his new shocks. Those things look like fine jewelry.

Thanks again Gary and Amy for hosting, you guys were great. Nice to meet Amy for the first time too.

Well, since you asked....the shocks make a noticeable difference, even at cruising speed on a smooth road. As mentioned in a previous post, the extremely low initial friction of the shock motion results in a reduced impact to the chassis with each and every reversal of the rod in the shock body. The quality of the ride just cruising around is improved because of this effect. More sporting use of the shocks will have to wait for another day. Scott was very helpful throughout the purchase and set up process, including recommended ride height and alignment settings. And the installers, the GT Guys, were as patient and exacting as a proper alignment requires.

Patience is easy when you have mandatory union breaks.

(Sorry, that was just a running joke every time one of them displayed weakness by wanting a bathroom/drink/food break between 8 am and 10 pm.)
