Absolutely loved being there to watch history repeat itself! Go Ford! Thanks for allowing us such a over the top experience at Le Mans this year!

Here are some pix from the event yesterday that were sent to me. Note the flag. We got to hear the story about this from Mose Nowland at R10. This flag was "stolen" just after the victory in 66. It was given to the teams to take back to France for good luck. It was on display yesterday now framed for permanent display. There are pictured here, if I recall, of the presentation of the flag to the team this past spring. Hopefully it goes to the Henry Ford so we can see it some day, with the 68 car, when it is retired (I'm speculating that this will be the cars long term home).

Note car is wearing the 66, as it has raced now twice since LeMans, here (WGI, Mosport).

The flag has been returned to Mose.

Actually, I didn't but when I catch up with him, I'll be happy to inquire.

I am familiar with the story behind the original acquisition, and I was very surprised that he loaned it out, as it has tremendous personal significance to him. It speaks volumes about him personally and his relationship with Ford Motor Company. You'll never meet a more modest and loyal man.

That model is between like $15k-57k depending on which version, so I'm gonna guess probably not.
