Boondocks, Colorado
The snow is about to fly and the car is coming back up the mountain to be tucked away until next year. Took it up US 6 towards Blackhawk/Central City on Saturday morning. It was a great day and light traffic. Don't know about you all but this summer went by so fast for me. Seems like I just got the car out a few weeks ago. Put about 1700 miles on it this summer for a total of 6500. Managed to keep her in prefect shape without a single knick or chip, knock on wood. I already can't wait for next spring!

Sorry. there's a little rattling noise occasionally. I had a BDay present sitting on the floor of the passenger side. That and the clicking of rolling the windows down as I headed into each tunnel :)

Sounds better than the typical honking your horn. :wink

Haha yep!

Very cool. I haven't driven that road. Looks beautiful. Next summer I need to do some exploring.

It would be a blast, bring your GT!

Having watched your videos, I notice you like tunnels :biggrin I have the same exhaust waiting to go into my car so I appreciate it.

It that were filmed up here, that first lone 4Runner on the roadside would be an undercover trooper with a laser and that second big group of cars on the side of the road would be all the cars being pulled over in one of our "revenue enhancement" traps. :frown

Really! Wow, that's unfortunate. Hope Colorado doesn't ever go that direction. I do like the tunnels and if you have the same exhaust you understand :)

Well, it isn't installed yet, but soon. Now I know what to expect!

On the revenue thing, how many billions is your state budget underfunded by? That seems to be the driving force up here. They are turning over every rock looking for $$.
