I'm here now thru next week. Name the time/place and I'm there. Preferably on a weekday.

Mike/Jim: You up for another lunch? I can't do this week and it is Thanksgiving next week. The early part of the week would work though. Lyons is out - most of our restaurant's are still not open for food.

Unfortunately guys I won't make a Tuesday lunch. I can walk to Busaba from home but it's a 20 minute drive from work. But Fenzo, if the roads are OK this weekend I'll be getting out for a short loop. Sounds like I'm just minutes from you. PM me if you'll be around.

If some politician doesn't siphon off the money for their pet project they will repave them next summer. Should be perfect for some late summer rips. If Jason is in next week I'd be up for some more thai.

Drunken noodles were delicious. Simple spicy perfection. Great company too, got the impression Mike had been there a time or two before. Looking forward to putting another 20K miles on my GT in the Rockies.

It's way more than repaving. The road beds in some places go completely around the original and in others they simply leveled the existing grade where it washed out. I don't know if they plan on leaving it there but spring runoff in some places will be over the road so I expect them to come in and raise it. I would expect short closures as sections get regraded.

Not sure what they did up there but in Coal Creek where the road bed was gone they brought in tons of boulders and concrete and built it back up. There is some uneven temporary paving but a resurface job would have it back in great shape. Maybe Coal Creek becomes the preferred canyon next year.

The locals who finally got to go home on 7 think that it is the best built road (I've not been up there since it only opened yesterday). It took the longest (of Hwy 36 and Hwy 34 (big Thompson canyon) and that it will be open this spring/summer while they do the final grade and repairs on 36. I dunno, we'll see.
