I hate it when that happens, what a shame. :frown
Well at least they were gaining ground, and in pack times seamed to be down only a couple sec's from the leaders toward the end. While 2 secs is an enternity in this sport they did it with nothing but driver changes and more time in the car.
The Doctor's report is in- car and driver are Ok, just banged up a little.
I had been shooting since dawn, I missed the crash, but I plan to put together a little something this week. It was not nice to see our mk.vii come home on a flat bed tow truck, but now, as Oliver and I ride home recapping, the feeling is very positive. The car proved its potential. The car is a winner.

Guys, I'm a newbie with regard to car racing and exposing my ignorance in this department but I would love to catch the FGT at one of the races and would even fly out to watch and maybe bring my 16 year old son who is a FGT fan!!!!
Can anyone post the schedule of races the Kuttner Duran FGTs are supposed to appear.

The Robertson Race Team is planning to run the full season, check their website, robertson-race.com or americanlemans.com for that schedule.
Oliver hopes to have his and Tim Pappas' cars ready in time for Utah- in April.
The videos are being webcast for free at fordgttv.com and should be available on DVD sometime this summer as a collection. In the meantime, I can burn one-offs and get to them as time permits. Right now, I'm working on editing what I shot last weekend at Sebring.
You can always call me at 434-293-9976 to ask about a copy on disc.
I hope to able to shoot all of the races, including St. Petersburg in two weeks, however, at this point I need to find my own sponsor to do so.

Kuttner / Doran Ford ALM?S update
It has been a while.
You may know that the Ford GT MK VII of the Robinsons got the pole position at Petit Le Mans last fall. A job well done with a great car.
We still have 4 GTRs waiting for a good home in the shop. As you can imagine racing budgets are short in this era. However there is some sunshine. My car is almost done which means it will show up one of these days.
Kevin is still racing the Ford marque and this coming weekend you will see our young engineer Brad Jaeger driving the Mc Donalds Dallara Ford at the 24 Hours of Daytona .
We are engaged in a very time appropriate and promising project. It is competing for the Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize. So you know we have not been sitting still. You may choose to follow this project on Edison2.com. Our facebook page will be quite active in the time to come.
We are building science fiction. Really.
In this project we are reinventing the automobile as you know it. Essentially we have designed and built the Ford Model T of the 21st century.
Rest assured that our 100 mpg car which is powered by gasoline only is also fun and fast.
After we do well with this we will be back to the GTR. We promise.
