Ford definitely knew what they were doing when they picked the ambassador for this particular GT.

The car wasn't out of the trailer maybe 15 minutes, when in typical Frank fashion, he announces to the crowd "any kids that want their picture taken in the car, hop in"

Reminded me of when I joined the forum. I was maybe a member a couple days when I get a PM from a guy in Bellville. IL. Frank introduced himself, and gave me his cell number. Said to be sure and call if I needed anything.
Proud to say we've been friends ever since.

I have to say the pictures don't do it justice, it looks so much better in person.

On advice of the delivery team, I will wait 3 weeks for paint to cure. The car will spend the next 2 weeks at the dealership being showcased and then a week at the clear bra place being showcased. The clear bra process will start at the beginning of week 4 and take a few days. This way I only have to drive it about 5 miles from dealer to clear bra. I hope to have it before Atlanta and drive it down. GreyGhosts picture does the color proud on a cloudy day.

BTW, dealership originally was squeamish about keeping car there until general manager came in and saw it Monday morning. The guy next to me in GreyGhosts pic is Mr. X2 Builders.

Congratulations Frank. Beautiful color choice! While you were unloading in the bad weather, I was hauling my NGT through the rain to Detroit to drop it off for full clear wrap. Hope to pick it back up the end of this week to start enjoying it. Have fun!
