Looks like shesgotlegs and I are the first ones here from yesterday. Got just under 100 private spots down in the garage all ready to rock. Also met up with Shelby#18 and had a nice Monday night dinner. Grabbing william.a.nelson at 9 to run out to A.R.T and grab some of the northeast attendee cars.

The hotel rocks and the staff is very courteous and professional. Best front end guys we've ever dealt with as far as allowing leeway with the cars. It wouldn't hurt to tip the valet guys for their understanding. :thumbsup

Just a note, my car is not lowered and I made it in and out of the garage with no problem. Same with shesgotlegs, and he is lowered just a bit. Shelby#18's car is slammed to the ground and he made it in and out without scraping, but definitely take a look at the ramp before you go in our out, so you can get a visual on the approach angle you'll need to take to not scrape. Stay tight on the outside right when leaving and then carefully turn the car hard back left as you crest the exit. If you're really, really, really lowered, let the valet staff know and they will allow you to exit through the entrance only with someone making sure nobody goes down the ramp.

Also, do NOT follow the car in front closely. When we were in Indy and cars got jammed up on the exit of the parking garage, it was a cacophony of slipping, burning clutches. Leave space and when the car in front is safely off the ramp, you should be good to go.

Waiting to board plane. Be in Austin just before noon. Anybody that needs to get ahold of me I will be available at my regular number, 8709318004

Woohoo ! We spent the night in good ole Winnie, TX and will be there in a few hours after I grab my car from ART.

Yikes! It is getting FULL! Pics to come soon. :cheers

Eating dinner with 10 guys in college station. 8 gt's driving from Dallas in just freakin floods of rain. Have fun at dinner and see you guys in the morning.

Here is what you see when you land in Austin. Austin is known for music and a liberal point of view, there are shirts and slogans that say "keep Austin weird"

You know you're at the right place when you drive up to front of the Rally Hotel:

I was behind "F Enzo" last night...it sounded mean.

I started packing today for Rally V. I want to be first to arrive.

And Chip is already considering how he's going to pull off another Rally to the Rally - we CAN'T have one without the other!:lol
