My gal is just as I envisioned she would be prior to her arrival however sadly there were a few items that they failed to tend to that were on my must have list as such I was compelled to massage her a bit.

She appears, sounds, and runs as OEM as such if the old saying "if she looks like a..... sounds like a..... then she is a ....." holds water then my gal is OEM

"Ford factory leather covered glovebox between the seats"?? Tell me more. What is this? Photos?
Howard

Howard,

In non-Macintosh GT's there is no giant speaker between the seats. In place of that speaker is a cool leather covered glovebox. It looks much nicer than that big speaker (which is now relocated behind my passenger seat) and provides some much needed storage space.

What looks OEM, until you open a door?
What sounds OEM, until you start the engine?
What runs like OEM, until you get on the boost?

Answer, only the Shadowman knows.

LOL; you are a good man

Considering that she is as she has been since she had only approximately 50 miles on her gives me little else to compare to

She is thoroughbred through and through and makes me smile whether I am looking at, getting in, or getting out of her not to mention that when I press the "GO" button I become akin to a kid in a candy store.

Ford did very good in my eyes

Chip, thanks for the info and photo. I didn't know that that the non-Mac GT's had a storage bin. I'll have to consider a speaker-relocation project.

Functional Brake Ducts

...

More info PLEASE....

The fake brake ducts holes are really bothering me.

The whole car is magnificent, a masterpiece, but the fake holes... :thumbsdow

How did you do it? I was under the impression that you need to lose the A/C (compressor in the way on the passenger side).

Thanks for your help.

PS
the rest of the list is just IMPRESSIVE!

Running duct tubes all the way back to the wheels is a tight mess. Without moving anything, my shop was able to work around most lines and even had some intersecting through the tubes. You can actually see the compressor and a/c lines inside of the ducts. Yes they are there, but don't significantly detract from air flow. The job is very involved and probably not worth the hassle as the whole front of the car has to be dismantled - i.e. $$$. I would take some pics for you, but I just dropped the car off this afternoon for measurements on a new Brembo GTR Braking system. The blocked of ducts do look kinda bad, but if it's brake cooling for cheap your seeking, maybe bring the air from underneath like the vents on the newere 911 racers.

The black/silver stripe is bone stock. Have Derry's custom wheel nuts for this car as well but not installed. Still in the beautiful case that Derry sends them in. Still with all original factory stickers on the car and plastic seat covers on the seats.:banana

HeritageBruce, how do you like the Livewire? Does it do datalogs without a PC? If so do you have any idea on how long you can collect data with less say 10 PIDs? I am sure the more PIDs the less time. The last I heard about the Livewire unit, is that it wasn't ready for prime time.

How did you lower the seat? I have clearence problems with my helmet, so much so that I am considering purchasing a door and have a Gurney bubble installed...

But before I do that I would try any other possible solution... 1.5 inches could solve my problem.

Thank you
