Time to get a recharge on the 05 FGT Safecraft system. Does anybosy remeber what type of Halon to search for. I'm looking for a local supplier vs. sending back to Ca.

Nothing about the FGT on website yet alone Halon type... call to Don forthcoming

They also sold off their racing harness business to a guy outside of Chicago (Elk Grove) who is very hard to contact.

Kendall, I just checked and I see I purchased my system through you 11 years ago. Do you have any suggestions/recommendations regarding the servicing of the system now?

I’ve made ~ 15-20 calls. New product is Novec 1230. Verifying you can recover the Halon and “supposedly” use same system for Novec.
Only thing Johanna said at the new SafeCraft was $189 plus I buy freight each way.... and holy crap is that $$$. Cheaper for me to drive it to them myself...... They really don’t want to support what customs the “old owners” did.....
Also trying to get with somebody in SCAA and other bodies to see who builds and refills Novec out there

last time I had it refilled, they didn’t tighten the bolt causing 1/2 to leak out.......

Update.... found the guy in this area. his tech is out for two week but he said he can easily change the agent to Novec 1230.
I'll either mail empty and pick up in a few weeks and then post up contact, experience, price etc.....
