My wife and I ran into Mose at the Museum during the rally and he is every bit the gentleman we saw on stage and in the interview above.

Mose is a great guy who spent a lot of time with me on the phone when I was writing my new book, FORD TOTAL PERFORMANCE. Photo attached: Edsel Ford II presented the prestigious Spirit of Ford Award to race engine engineer, Mose Nowland, left, with his wife, Marcia, at a special event at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City prior to the 2005 NASCAR Banquet. Nowland retired as Senior Motorsports Engineer from Ford after 57 years in 2012.
