Hey guys, im new here and joined to get some info on my dream car im trying to make into a reality :wink
Does anybody know what modifications (ifany) and how easy it is to import a gt INTO canada from the us? Im looking at several that are being sold as salvage to fix up over a year or two. Im not afraid of a project, infact its my hobby to just buy, tinker, and enjoy!
Also, im about 6'4, do you think ill fit in one? Seat back and tilted down a bit? Lol.
-How are they (comfort wise/visibility) to drive? Thanks :thumbsup

Talk to Jason (spddmnjay) on the forum. He brought his car in from the US. As for the height, you'll probably fit, but if you don't, Shadowman can arrange for you to get the seat cushion lowered without affecting the look at all.

As for how they drive, 2 buddies and I just finished doing 1400 miles in about a week in California. Surprisingly, we got all our luggage in WITH our girls and didn't have any space issues (which should have been the ONLY problem with how these cars are to drive). The GT is a wonderful machine!!!!

Good luck with your project. I am a little over 6'3 and this is one of the most comfortable sports cars I have ever had.....and the most fun. :biggrin

It really depends on your torso and ....uhhh what's the right way to say this....girth :wink as to how comfortable the seat will be as a tall guy. But like 'Fly says the seat thing can be worked out. :cheers

Yes, I purchased my GT in the US and imported it to Canada.

Cheers

seat mod

I'm 6'4" and had Shadowman lower the driver's seat. I would opine that it's necessary. Colossal improvement in visibility out the front/sides. Haven't tried with my helmet on yet, but think it'll work, though barely.
