Is there any other way? How would you have 3 pedals without a stick?

I've watched the Senna video a million times. Never gets old. I love how he throttle steers the car in mid turn by tapping the gas. Looks like he's got the NSX wrung out on a knifes edge. No wonder he was a master in the rain.
Love how Rohrl left foot brakes as needed while feeding the throttle. Footwork like a ballet dancer.

Some Walter Rohrl quotes...

If you see the tree you are driving in to, you have under steered. If you only hear it, you have over steered. (Walter Röhrl)

You can't treat a car like a human being - a car needs love. (Walter Röhrl)

In Rally sport it is important that the car has a good handling...
you should find a balance between under- and oversteering...
with the tendency to drift... (Walter Röhrl)

I am not interested in winning by one second.
There are people who say: 'that was a really tough fight, I won by one second!'
I want to win by 10 minutes. That makes me happy! (Walter Röhrl)

Röhrl after an accident (in his Audi Quattro S1)
'Why didn't you call the turn?'
'I couldn't...'
(Copilot couldn't cope with the speed of the S1 and could not say a word)

When accelerating the tears of emotion have to run off horizontally to the ear. (Walter Röhrl)

As if someone smashes into the rear of your car at 30km/h at the red light.
(Walter Röhrl about the acceleration of the Audi Sport Quattro S1)

For me driving starts when I steer the car with the throttle pedal instead of the wheel.
Everything else is just doing work. (Walter Röhrl)

Good drivers have dead flies on the side windows. (Walter Röhrl)

In some parts of this video you can see my footwork and the method that I prefer. It took a while to learn left foot braking, but it paid off for me with better lap times, 1:19's at Hallett near Tulsa, and 1:55's at Eagles Canyon near Decatur, Texas, in my 2012 Ariel Atom 3 demonstrator/company car.

Big Fun!

Thanks, guys. A lot of fun, for not a lot of money or maintenance.

Eddie

Compared to what you have done in the past, that is the understatement of the year!
