With Speedhut you have to change out the whole gauge panel, and if you like the looks of the Speedhut gauges then go for it.

A Ford-sourced replacement gauge will fail at the same rate as the original gauges - ie, it's not a guaranteed fix (although a replacement would have a 2 year warranty). Autometer makes replacements for the smaller gauges that have the same appearance as the original gauges but have a new "innards" that won't fail. That leaves the speedometer and tachometer. For the larger gauges, Kendall has a means of replacing the original innards with innards that won't fail. That is the way to go.

Talk to Kendall

Talk to Kendall as others have said, especially as the OEM large gauges have not been re engineered (all the small ones have been by Autometer), so you might have the same problem again.

Anyone know the price? I have emailed him a couple times through his site for a tach rebuild, never heard back.

I’ll try Kendall. I want one ASAP.

Check eBay. Scott Minch at Dearborn may have some.

Look at post no. 46 in this thread from Kendall (pricing and time)

Try searching by VIN on https://www.fordpartsprime.com/ for that speedo. Hope this helps you out. They have a ton of OEM Ford parts at good deals.
