55k miles on my car. I have enjoyed every one of those miles.

Not worried about axel bolts. I carry a repair KIit to deal with that problem if it arises. All necessarry tools to remove and replace on the run. Axel bolts on my car have broken 3 times.

Have you used the Accufab bolts yet, or the lastest Ford bolts?

I have yet to install accufab bolts

I have about 1500 miles on new Ford bolts. I carry 2 additional sets as back up.

Try the Accufabs next time. You can be our guinea pig as to whether they are better than the new Ford bolts.:lol

If the new Ford bolts break

I will make sure that I replace them with accufab bolts and see what kind of milage I can get. I put a lot of stress on axels, I would consider my self to drive faster than normal, I don`t do burn outs. Hower I do get up to the 180 mph range on occasions. I have driven my car to the max MPH for about 15 minutes. Most of my driving is 75mph on highway.

I my driving to baja I do plan taking my car to the max... I will be as careful as possible. I wll place a HD camcorder to document my driving and the performance of my car.....We will se how it goes.......

I would hate to get find out want a ticket for 200+ in the US would cost me, in Mexico driving a GT at 200+ you will have to have more than a good lawyer!

Feliz navidad, Cimax. You've got major huevos. Los Cabos is one of my favorite Mexican destinations. Golf, deep sea fishing, tequila. People watching at the marina. I've thought of doing the trek on a BMW moto. If I survived a GT trip down there, the first thing I'd do is hit Cabo Wabo. As Sammy says, "I can't drive 55".
