Yes... Click on the "insert image" icon (left of the smiley face above). Click in the box or drop the image there. (This is using Firefox on Win10)

So I thought I was home free on this, so I was trying to post pictures in two general discussion threads but the attach files button doesn't appear there like it does here. Is there some sort of global change I need to make?

Same here, I can drag pictures here, and in the general discussion forum, but not in the new members searching forum where I'm documenting my car and all its quirks.
