Back in the 40's, when the threat of Japanese air attack was considered a real threat, this is how they camouflaged a Lockheed aircraft factory from aerial attack...really fascinating.

These are some amazing pictures. You really have to study them however; you will be able to see how they used nets and fake trees to create the suburb.

My Dad was in grade school about three blocks from there and talks of a P-38 crashing into the play ground right after take off, killing the pilot. I hope we as a nation never have to go through something like that again and I also hope that if we do, as a people would we can muster the will.
