How many miles have you put on your 2017-18 Ford GT?

Gentlemen,

Our good friends at Ford Motor Company allocated new GT’s to enthusiasts who they believed would drive and show them. So how are we doing? Post up here and let us know 3 things.

1. How many months have you owned your new GT?
2. How many miles does it have on the odometer now?
3. How many events has your new GT attended? (Rallies, car shows, track days, fundraisers, internet features)

I’m pretty sure FlagstaffGT is the mileage champ so far but our internet ninja DBK has certainly had the largest reach with countless web videos, photos, and articles showcasing his Riviera Blue GT.

I’ll start.....as of today H034 has logged 1055 miles in 5 months of ownership, it had been the star at 14 auto shows, and Peggy and I have put nearly 300 Hot Wheels Yellow Ford GT’s into the hands of young future Ford enthusiasts.

Just over a month. Its been started twice, and moved into a trailer, It sits at 6.1 miles. But I live in the north east, and it cant be driven yet....

Not the reply you wanted, but As the second time I started it, was yesterday, I have fresh excitement for the car.

FordPass shows 2,191 miles but it's higher than that. I think it's closer to 2,250.

Will be a year on June 10th. Drive time was basically July-August-September.

Car has been in action in California, Utah, Florida, Michigan. Track time at UMC. Car is a staple on social media. It's really cool to never have to worry about taking good photos of the car because there are so many awesome pics of it floating around that get taken just by virtue of driving it.

My ODO shows 800 miles... been to 3 or 4 car shows locally before the cold set in .

Raj Nair handed me the keys on September 19 am at the ICON Garage.
(But the vehicle had some "down time" for the first 2 weeks..)

I hope to start driving again on April 15th.

986 kms , 613 miles
Sept 9 2017 picked up at the plant.
4 weeks in the garage while I was a way and having PPF applied.
Week of Oct 9 started to drive it.
Early November put away
Already had its first service and a couple of warranty adjustments
1 charity event and numerous visits by dealer, Ford Canada Executives, friends, family, and Ford GT forum members at the car cathedral.
Currently Huge Cabin Fever waiting for spring!!

Burn a few brain cells and tell us the total # of events you have attended with your new GT. If you can’t figure it out then give us a close estimate. Like DBK you’ve done a great job flying the Ford Performance flag. I’m waiting for my Texas buddy Tomy Hamon to post up too. Tomy has concentrated on showing his white/blue GT at massive events with huge attendance.

Like DBK you’ve done a great job flying the Ford Performance flag. I’m waiting for my Texas buddy Tomy Hamon to post up too. A quick check of my phone pictures puts me at (26) outside events,, not including my party.. or the rally.. The two high lights were the week at SEMA in the center of the car world and winning the Miami Design District Event.. and of course the rally and seeing all of my fellow GT owners !!

Well here goes!
1. Took delivery July 24, 2017, 7 months and 14 days ago.
2. Mileage- 1,144.7 miles and not had oil and filter changed yet because of Dealership construction.
3. Events attended: 9
GT Rally, car displays, Big Auto Show, Car Shows, Brunch, Fun Raisers
My GT # H045 is probably the most photogenic Vehicle and New Ford GT in the Houston Gulf Coast Area. Sue and I have given out so many 1:38 Ford GT Models to kids we’ve lost count. I purchase them by the dozen in 10-12 box lots. I never have to take a fancy camera when we show our Girl as every young person has better cameras than I have and they are happy to send me pictures. NOTE: I think my delivery was the first delivery videoed by Drone thanks to Sterling McCall Ford in Houston, Texas and is on YouTube under (2017 Ford GT Delivery 26, by thanley99). If your not showing off your New GT you’re missing a lot of excitement and fun. As Chip says being an Ambassador for Ford The Ford GT Forum and the Ford GT Program is very rewarding and meaningful. One more note: When I enter my GT in a Car Show I pay the registration like everyone else but I don’t want my Car judged against other entries because I know I have a winner and it could scare off other entries. Everyone at the shows know my GT will not be judged! Hell I had a whole Dealership full of trophies from racing and shows I have given away to kids over the years at shows! This is the most rewarding time in Sue and my life. We are Blessed!

10 months. 11,500 miles. One tire. 9 to 11 events (considering a reasonable sized event) as of tomorrow (St.. Patrick day parade). But in my defense my car was disassembled at Ford for about one month.

Just got it out of winter storage today. Dad and I took out for a ride today along with my son who says “I want to drive this when I get bigger”! After today now have 320 miles. The plan is to go to some cars and coffee’s, display it at the dealership, and get 600 miles on it asap so we can change the oil and then really open her up! Looking forward to bringing to next Rally. Happy Easter everyone!

Temps never made it above about 41 degrees F. according to my Truck... cold.
