Does anyone know how many GTs are to be manufactured with the Heritage paint scheme?

My understanding is 200.

The origional plan was 10% of this years build. The percentage went higher near the end of the build so it may be 15%to17%. Ford won't know untill the last one is built.

Curious where you information on the change came from? Everything from Ford still says 10% of the 06 allocation and those were given out in the first month. I had an order in at a dealer that didn't get an allocation and Ford upstream said it would never be filled.

So wondering how they are getting 15%? Thats another 100 cars that have to go to someone.

Congrats.

And .............. wad da ya think so far?

Ford limits the production by having qualifying dealers enter a lottery for the car. A dealer cannot order a Heritage the same way as a normal GT. My guess is only Ford knows how many are produced. There have been 2 lotterys and we have not won yet !

Here's the Ford memo announcing that Heritage paint would be limited, and Tungsten would not be limited.

I was one of the lucky ones, my Heritage GT came from a good friend who owns several dealerships. I was not aware of your site until after I bought the car. My cost was well below sticker.

I have never made any money on any car I have ever owned regardless of all the hype. From your analysis after all the hoopla dies down will these cars be any different? Is it worth storing in a unsed condition for a year or two or just drive it and take the hit when your ready to move on.

Thanks,

Jim
