So maybe a third of so of those still vertical are here. Interesting. Is it worthwhile to list yourself (if you can) on the registry? I would think it would ne near impossible to keep it accurate.
No Frank - I just look at my wall - - - here are the tables for both 2005 & 2006, as received in my Certificate of Authenticity...
This has the totals of 2,022 for 2005, and 2,011 for 2006. That's 4,033 for the production run. The official number has been determined to be 4,038, as I've understood for some time.
Why the disparity of 5 units in the Certificate of Authenticity quantity of 4,033, and the 4,038 quantity I've known for years as the alleged total production number?
"cobrajeff" has answered this a couple of times - I can't totally remember the answer, so you'll have to search for it - might be the few with 04 VINs.
4,038 is the total number.
The number of 2,022 shown on the SVT charts for 2005 production is incorrect. There were 2,027 units produced for the 2005 Model Year, bringing the grand total to 4,038 units of production for Model Years 2005 and 2006 combined. There were five 2005 production-level US spec units shipped to Europe in 2005 as factory "Test Cars" that were somehow not included in the 2,022 number that the SVT chart shows.
The 4,038 number does not include any of the prototypes with 2004 VINs.

One less silver one on the streets. As I got onto 395 in my F-150 in Reno, NV, it was backwards into the wall smashed on the on ramp.
2006 Midnight Blue, no stripes, standard radio, red calipers, optional wheels. Looks like I am one of two.
Yep! And still enjoying my GT. :biggrinHey , Your still alive !! Haven't seen you here in a while !!
This is a really cool thread, very interesting to see the production breakdown. Does anyone know if it is still possible to get the certificates from Ford?
Oddly enough I just bought mine two weeks ago and it showed up yesterday. It even had a spare window sticker. I also bought the book Joey wrote about the GT's and its fantastic!
