My neighbors went to the Houston Car Show today and picked this up for me!

Hey Larry!

Great color choice! My brother was working at the booth, and he think he talked to you. Looking forward to meeting you!

Went yesterday cause I was bored and missed out the last 2 years.

Probably the best part was seeing a car I knew!!!!

Pretty sure this is DoctorV8's car?

I bought a blue/white stripe car from them 2 years ago now. Gary Seale
was great to work with.

I stopped by the cars and coffee event on Jan 3rd and there were some great cars there. 67 GT 500 was my favorite, but 68gtrcode had a whole
collection of cars there, including a GT.

68gtrcode?

I did bring out 5 cars including my GT. :)

I know the guy who owns that while GT500. I saw that car when it was in a million pieces and have shared a exhibit at the Autorama with him a few times. GREAT car.

Yes I have known about this meet for some time I always wanted to go, and I always wanted a superformace, but could never find one with the right color combe (bk no stripe ofcourse) at the right price the timing was always wrong, so no cobra for me, hence never made the meet, now if there is going to be some gt buddies going out to this I will be willing to tag along, I think that might be a fun weekend.

I have been a member a couple of years!! We have the annual Texas Cobra Club meet coming up in San Marcos the last weekend in March. Last year we had 80 Cobras and 2-3 GT's. At that time I didn't get their names but one was from Dallas in Gulf Colors. My biggest problem now is which to take the Cobra or the GT!! Probably Cobra unless I can find a 2 car trailer. Here is the Web site if you have a chance to look at it. Maybe a roadtrip that weekend!!!

Will try my best to make the Urban Speed meet.

Thanks for your help.

That was one of the problems with the GT. NO place for the golf clubs except the passenger seat.

"Tin Cup" only needed a 7 iron [I'd take a putter too ("Mr. 3-Wiggle")] - :lol :lol

Nope, those are probably #6 or 7 on the popularity list. 2-5 are the usual "How fast is it/how much/can you start it up/does it have Lambo doors"

FWIW, I purchased my 200 mile FGT (in the Bony standard paint scheme of course) from Lambo of Houston. Not the lowest price, and had a bit a problem with the purchase, much apparently out of the hands of the dealer. They went out of their way to make it all right, and the car was ultimately perfect as advertised - leaving me with a nicely boxed/spare Ford windshield.
I'd likely turn to our forum supporter (Shelby) next time, but I wouldn't rule them out.

Nah...I generally don't tell people it's my car. Only got asked that a couple of times...prefer to let them think I'm an employee of Motorwerks. ;-)

"What does something like that cost?", was the one I pbly heard most often followed by, "What do you do?"
