New 2006 Ford GT just arrived in Houston and it's pretty. Steve Forristall of Forristal's in Houston, Texas sent me a picture this afternoon of a 2006 Ford GT, Black with no Stripes, all the options. Steve did some trading for one of his rare Shelby's he's had for a long time. I think he's going to keep it and hopefully I can get him to register it with the Forum and get involved. He's been selling Classic Shelby's and Exotics in Houston for a long time and told me he been wanting a Ford GT ever since they came out. Steve has owned some very famous cars in his lifetime. A famous Daytona Coupe, a 65 GT350 race car (still owns it) and the GT40 Ford touring car which was on our showroom in 1975 with John Mecom Jr. That Edsel Ford once owned. He's been around selling vehicles a long time. I'm really glad he owns this Beautiful All Black Beauty. Check her out.

That's a great shot. Reflections really show the curves.

Sweet!

Really like all black. If I had been capable of placing an order, I might have gone that way. Nothing wrong with what I have, mind you, but always have had a thing for black. Must be a little Henry Ford " any color as long as it's black" in my blood.

I'd love to see a side-by-side of an all black GT and a black 458.

I bought two 1965 fastback Mustangs from Steve in 1994. A white with blue guts, and a red with black guts. I bought them both at the same time to pick the nicest one to construct my 65 GT350 Clone. Turned out the red one was almost completely rust free so it became the clone. Haven't heard about Steve in a long time, glad he is still in business. Class act when I dealt with him 21 years ago. Still have my clone, and still love it.

I bought a 246GTS from Steve back in the day, traded my Marcos in for it, wish I'd kept the Dino!
Steve has offered acess to his GT350 racer to help with my Gene Hamon 350R clone project. This is moving right along, should be on track before year-end, complete with Judson Massengil-built screaming motor (check out the Engine Masters winners for his details, he's the man!)
