For you lucky new owners, here is a company who makes a high quality model. I think some of us on here may have an 05-06 from them.

Looks fantastic. The MKI and MKII they have look great too.

I thought it was this one from "Top Speed" but the stripes are different

I just bought a 1/8 scale NGT from Amazon for $25. Probably not the same quality but I need to save for the real thing!

Bought this at Le Mans 2016 - I think price was $300 - it´s a 1 of 300 limited edition. I had it signed by Henry Ford III

I´m pretty sure that will be as close I get to having a NFGT in the garage :wink

Anders,

I think I have the same model. It's pretty nice, but with the autograph yours is way cooler. Super touch with the Le Mans win.

If I were to switch them, do you think you would notice?

:lol:lol Maybe not .... I´m pretty sure I fall into the same category as most Forum members .... that we really have way more toys and memorabilia than we we really need or can keep track of :rofl:wink:biggrin:facepalm:

I'm looking for a low quality, inexpensive smaller diecast of the '06 to give away in volume at car shows. Found an occasional one from time to time but no great number. Really makes some kid's day, and tends to create a lifetime fan.

There's a model that I constantly find at gas stations and drug stores here. I don't have many of them, but usually they are white/blue or black.

I gave away over 100 Hot Wheels GT cars at a party. I bought them online for $0.79 each.

Ed, I've tried to find a quantity discount on Hot Wheels GT's for the same purpose. Do you still have contact info?

The model is the exact same as the 1 of 999 NAIAS launch version from TSM, it just has a different colored base and different packaging. I've also been told that those ones made by Engup were made using the same molds TSM uses.

Very cool with the signature, though!

You are right. Funny thing is, TSM has put out all of these "Chicago Auto Show" version, but none of them have been quite right. The stripes on all of the TSM models are almost black, but the actual car was much closer to this other version, with a lighter grey stripe. Here's a shot I took from the 2015 Chicago show.

brand is Top Speed according to box ..... would have expected that it really was a 1 0f 300 edition when Ford branded on the box. Surprised to hear that exact same model sold as 1 of 999 limited edition in other places ....

If you really want amazing quality and are happy to ignore the prices, these are amazing :-

They'll do custom builds. Someone I know has a number of his cars which are in customer colours made.

Maisto exclusive

For the money the Maisto exclusive isn't a bad model. Lights, interior, wheels, brakes have good detail. Doors open, but not far enough. I wished I had a lifting spoiler but it can't. Word is AutoArt is bringing out a model of the Ford GT. That would be interesting, they are known for high quality models with proper opening parts in the price range of 200 tot 300 USD/Euro etc.
