Something you want to tell me?

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA, September 01, 2007... Bray Group Inc. announced today that in conjunction with Ford GT forum (www.fordgtforum.com), it will be providing Proline Styling windshield protection kits at a special price for it's entire members of the Ford GT forum. The forum currently holds an impressive 2,070 membership, with, over 83,267 post on its web site.

Brian Stormer, director of the forum, stated, "I was very happy to find this new Proline Styling Windshield Skin product when I attended the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas. I did not want to drive my limited production Ford GT Super Car until it was fully protected. I delayed driving my car until your product was installed. So far the product has met and beat my expectations!! The visibility is so good I have to tell people it's there!!! I can now drive my car on the open road and feel some comfort that I'm protected from flying road debris!"

Proline Styling is proud to partner with Ford GT forum and supply their members with a product they all have been looking for, for many years, Brian also said, "For the record, I have no financial or business interest with this company, it's just a product that I was happy to find for my GT and wanted to share it with my fellow GT enthusiasts."

:bored :lol :lol :lol

Yeah... I have something to tell anyone that cares to listen....
PROLINE sold me their film. I had a pro window tint guy follow their instructions before' Brian rewrote them. They could not get the film to adhere to the cornors. Then Brian told us to use less soap, they came back the next day to reinstall, and I have bubbles all over my windshield. Asked Bo from PROLINE to do what they can, offered to buy another film, asked for a FAIR discount, they said they would think about it. Called them back, left a voice mail, they never did anything. Asked Brian for help, he was unable to do anything. They left me out to dry. They stink. I recommend anybody but PROLINE.

I kept warning him not to use that "title" outside the bar. I guess it was so successful with the female bar patrons, Brian thought he would test it out in the performance industry.

Give the boy an inch and he takes a mile. I'll bet Bony is behind this somehow. Better check Stormcat's post count.

BTW, with the lack of response from Proline to some of the Forum members, I'm glad we have someone to blame.

The Bray Group took some basic information and made a nice rosie statement.. Now I know how people in the public eye feel when things are written in a very opportunistic fashion...

As far as director or what ever they labeled me they took that from the avatar caption you gave us when we became life time members. It use to say "board of directors" under our name, now just says B.o.d. When we first started the project they use to come visit here and they saw that and they must have figured I was someone important...they never asked me if I held any significant or official position here and I never implied that I did. ...so they got they got the impression I was someone important around here from the title you gave us life time subscribers...

As far as the rest of the stuff. It's true. I was happy to find them at SEMA, I wouldn't drive my GT until I put the product on the car. My car was new and I didn't want to risk any windshield damage. I was the first one to put one on and I'm still real happy with the product. Since the product was new and really not meant to be a DIY project some people did not have good results. There are many who had there's installed by professional window tint installers and have had great results. I have one on my 2nd GT and I personally would not drive my GT on the open road with out it.

For the record it was offered to all the members here initially as a group buy at a discounted rate. I never gave them any membership numbers I guess they took that from the publicly posted data at the bottom of the home page.. So I really don't think they said any thing untrue I think they just informally gathered posted facts from here and made this nice looking statement. The only thing that they asked me about in relation to this statement was what I stated about the finding the product and using it. I was disappointed they didn't do a better job on the customer service side...

For the record It's been really fun trying to find new products, Work with other vendors to develop new products or if I have to , build my own new products for the sake of a better GT experience. If one other person likes it I'm happy. I'm not doing it to be popular or to be someone who wants to be important around here I do it for the passion I have for the GT !! I'm just happy to have this great place to share these things !!!..:thumbsup

Don't Buy Anything From The Bray Group!
Just Based On Their Press Release You Can Tell How They Distort The Truth.
By The Way, How Long Did It Take Them To Install The Film On Shadowman's Car? Yes, I Am Unhappy With Them. Hope They Take The Time To Read This Post.
Meanwhile, Don't Buy From These Wonderful Folks :(

I was just kidding Stormcat :lol Who cares, it's not like the fgtforum share price is declining because of rumors of instability in the front office. :rofl

Disappointed

After having a local detail & tint shop have their best guy install the film a year ago. The bubbles were plentiful and never went away. There was no comparison between clarity with film versus without. I had to remove the film. That being said, my favorite item from a vendor that is FGT related is the RaceRamps I first noticed in Shadowman's garage in a photo post. Bill pointed me in the right direction, Rich Heinz, and they perform very well. Next best thing to a lift, in my opinion.

Heck, they even put a Ford GT into their ad. I think it's an '05 with the VIN ending in 0507. (Pre-33 scheme)

Thanks Dave,
I just wanted to set the record straight on the facts and or how they were written. I will say this in defense of the product. That because it was new to the market a lot of people did not have any experience installing it. And probably was the cause of most sub standard results. FL Chris had his done by a window tint guy and came out great. I have heard that from others as well. Unfortunately there is not another product on the market that is equal to this.
I will not defend the Bray groups customer service actions. I just met a GT newbie who has been in my car and never detected the plastic. He would like to have it installed. I plan to send him to the same guy FL Chris has used. Maybe we can still get the Bray group to do the right thing on the customer service side?? Now back to the regularly scheduled program...:biggrin

Took my Gt in for service a few months back to a local Ca. OC dealer. The service mgr. in his desire to show me how good they are and how much they care, took me over to another GT and proclaimed "We are even fixing the personal car of the owner of the GT Forums".:confused:bored:confused

Now let me say this, I know DBK, DBK is a friend of mine and I'm here to tell you that the GT I was looking at was no DBK GT! (Just a little Super Tuesday political humor for those of you old enough to recall). I also know the owner of the GT in question and you would never convince me he was telling people he owns the GT Forums. Point is I think some sales/venders will say almost anything if it will help the close "the deal".:bs

SORRY TO DIG MY HEALS IN.
WHAT THEY HAVE SENT OUT AS A RELEASE IS NOT TRUE.
THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS.
YET WE ARE USING THIS FORUM TO GIVE THEM SUPPORT.
SHAME ON US.
I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT FEELS SCREWED BY THEM.
YOUR EFFORTS TO HELP US ARE APPRECIATED, BUT HAVE BEEN FRUITLESS SO FAR. I PAID FOR THREE HOURS OF LABOR PLUS THE COST OF THE FILM.

I hear you and agree. I'm not happy about the way they treated you and others who had problems. If someone else had a similar product it would be easy never to mention their name. I'll probably be talking to them for this local guy who wants one. I will again ask that they make it right with you so they don't get a third black eye !!
