I can't thank you guys enough for your enthusiastic responses. The owner of this car is not a member of the forum. Building these cars is really a labor of love for myself and everyone that works here. I can't wait to meet more of you in person at the rally.

I was just messing around with wheel ideas and thought I'd add more (unprofessonally done) porn. These are the Dymag Split 5's and the plan is to have the center spokes painted to the BASF Heritage paint code.

I had some of these wheels ordered but they don't make this in a 19" wheel. Are you going to run an 18" rear wheel ? if so what tires will you use?

I am working with Lucent Motors in West LA and they already quoted me a price for the wheels in 19x9 and 19x12 sizes. PM me if you would their contact information.

I'm thinking of using P Zero Corsa Systems (N rated for Porsches) in 255/35-19 and 345/35/-19's and since they were the OEM tires on the 360CS and 996GT3RS, they should be able to handle the top speed requirements of the GT and I had these and the regular P Zero Corsa's (non N rated because they aren't as good in the wet but stickier in the dry but no longer available) on my 996GT3 before, both sets stick very well and were quite good track tires that can be driven on the road. If more poeple are interested in getting these and the Dymags, maybe we should start a separate thread for a group buy. Sorry for hijacking this thread.

I just noticed how narrow the stock front tire on the GT is! WOW! Kind of odd if you ask me.
