Hey. Im new to this forum and thought id introduce myself. I am 15 years old and currently attending high school in saskatoon, Canada. I do not own a GT obviously, so i do intend to keep my post to a minimum. However, that being said, I am trying to convince my Dad to buy one. He would love one but is having a hard time finding one in the right price range, so i'm snooping around this site to keep myself and him up to date in the GT world. Also, i have always wondered if there was ever a heritage GTX1 produced. If not, was there any reason? or was it just that no body decided to upgrade their heritage?

Welcome Hans. Heritage cars are hard to find, and the price tends to be higher. To the best of my knowledge, no one has offered up their Heritage to be modified into a GTX1 configuration.

Welcome. I agree with Frank. To my knowledge, there has not been a GTX1 in the heritage colors.
Also, I would be more than happy to assist your father with his GT search as we specialize in the sale of FORD GTs.

And, by the way -

Shelby is the best!!

Frank and Shelby are correct. No Heritage GTX1's. It might be because the the pre-production renderings of the X1 in Heritage were not particularly flattering. Many X1's were repainted. Some were painted the Valencia Orange color of the Prototype and are referred to as SEMA Editions. One Tungsten car was repainted an almost imperceptible different hue of the factory Tungsten color. One is Candy Chrome Red with ghost stripes. One is bronze, one is black with gold stripes but most retained their original FGT production color. :cheers

And, by the way -

Shelby is the best!!

Thank you :thumbsup

Thanks for the help. Shelby, Ill be sure to give your number to my dad and see what he says. Does any one have any pictures of the pre production rendering of the gtx1? or are those not available?

I never did any renderings of a Heritage paint scheme.
We'd be happy to build one!

I confused the neighborhood kids the first year we moved here.
They didn't know what to think of me handing out cans of Campbell soup.....

Yeah, I can see that Kip, you with grey hair. At least you're not dressed like Tigr.
