Why did it have to take me buying a Saleen to find out that this was even a thing back in 2004-2006. I certainly never heard of this. Did anyone else know about these?

I remember seeing the thing about the Gulf cars. I don't think they sold very many. Saleen had some pretty awful reputation problems then.
