Has anyone received or seen a GT350 on a dealers lot?

I have a 08 GT 500 vert, the one year (or partial year) where stripes were not available on a vert. Its really missing something and just looks like a regular S197, (note, this is coming from a no stripe GT owner). The GT350 will be AOK with or with out stripes as it has so many other distinctive visual features. So far my favorite is Magnetic w the black stripes. Wish they chose Guard as a 350 color.

Are you talking about the over-the-top stripes? Because they weren't available in 2007, either. I have a black 2007 stripe-delete gt500 vert (no side stripes, and all verts without over-the-top stripes), and I agree- with only the large Tiffany cobra badge and the different grill opening, it is a real sleeper.

Out running errands today, decided to stop by our local Ford dealership here in Beaumont. Went inside asked if they had a GT350 on order or if they had a delivery date or even if they had an allocation. The sales guy just stared at me and went and got the sales manager. The manager said he didn't know about a GT350, didn't know there was a GT350R but he said they do have a Shelby on order but already had a deposit for it. How is it that new car salesmen or especially the manager doesn't even know what they are selling.........do they not even pick up a Car and Driver once in a while?????

Didn't you just get electricity in Beaumont? Cut the guy some slack.

Thanks. I was glad to bring the 2015 GT350 #93. Got it a week ago Friday. It's got to be one of the first released. Very smooth & refined. Lovin' it! Keith

What is the point of dynoing a car with no miles?

Sarasota Ford got one in. They want me to buy it for $10K over. $10K just for being a legally required pass through. Go pound sand.

Get used to it if you want one, Gary. But I'm with you. No car is worth $10K over sticker just for the simple fact that there's no other way to get one.

if it's worth 10K over sticker, I would prefer to have Ford raise the sticker by 10K and have no ADM by the dealers - The reason MSRP is listed is that is the "Manufacturer;s Suggested Retail Price" and the dealer will get a very nice profit if he sells it at MSRP.

I would guess that's in the works Ralphie.

My take is 350R's will be harder to find than the GT was for two years. There are a lot more able buyers and the quantity is real low. Time is money you gotta pay to play.

Especially at this rate. I'll be surprised now if we get the 16 R before the year is up. Slight chance it gets here before Christmas, but I doubt it.

Stopped to see two (2) Mustang GT 350's at two different dealers here in Michigan...
Both, although on display, were owned by the Dealership principal and not for sale.

My local dealer recently offered me a base 350. One that they previously told me was sold (and I would have to wait until next spring for another opportunity!).

$10k over sticker.

I told them I could wait for sticker. And when the cars came down to sticker, I would buy from another dealer (which would probably be just as bad, but at least they hadn't had the opportunity to **** me). And, I'd never deal with them again.

Not that they care.

If no one pays over MSRP, dealers can't sell over MSRP- elementary logic- :biggrin

A base 350 at my local dealer black no stripe. Principal told me he we keeping it for himself, a couple weeks ago. Was I there this week, had a sold tag. His comment, "I was promised another one by ford, and was made an offer I couldn't refuse". I didn't ask how much....

I predict normal pricing next late summer, fall, winter worst case at least for "standard" 350.
