Ok I found their address (and maybe more importantly a different phone number) . I needed it to wire them the money...so here you go:

Advanced Products Technologies
1442 E Arror Hwy J
Irwindale, CA 91706
626-303-2225
Contact: Harry

The bank they use in case it helps .

Bank of the West
14220 Ramona
Baldwin Park, CA 91706
626-338-7385

Here is the bank info that Harry gave me on October 5 to wire my money to. Looks like he's using two different banks, and this account isn't even in his name:

Foothill- Rosemead .
Bank of America
Account name- Angela Caiz
Routing # - 122-000-661
Acount # - 06265-45862

My sincere thanks to HHGT and Mk2 GT for their help. Another example of what a great group we have here on this Forum.

If anyone actually can stop off at the alleged address of the shop, here are photos Harry sent to me on December 2 of my wheels (or so Harry says).

I believe Harry told me that Angela Caiz is his girlfriend and as I remember the money I wired to him was to this same person. Maybe she could be tracked down and could answer some questions?

FYI:
411.com shows 3 listings for an Angela Caiz, all age 37 (?).

Name City State Age People Report
Angela Caiz Chino Hills CA 37 View Details
Angela Caiz Duarte CA 37 View Details

If the wheels are Chinese made and not certified by a well known wheel supplier, I certainly would not drove over 50mph on them.

One of my workers lives by that address. I just called him and asked to stop in and evaluate and verify the physical location address etc. Will report later.

It was reported that there is now a croissant shop at that address. Sorry guys.

Thank you very much for your help in this Sam. :thumbsup No matter what the outcome...

My pleasure Rick. Wish I could do more.

How about we pitch in and advertise on the nearby freeway billboard? The Caption would read "Reward for any information re Harry Baz, Emil Kalovsky and the other cohorts"

Don,

I'm pretty sure those would be your wheels. In all of the dealings I've had with Harry, he had never produced Red wheels before. My Blue Wheels were the first custom paint job he had done. All previous wheels were some shade of Tungsten.

Yes Don, I was thinking the same thing. Harry sent me pics very similar to the red ones but in black and they were definitely different photos than shown on this post so I wouldn't think he just photo shopped them. This is definitely not adding up as it looks as if the wheels are complete so why not follow through with his commitment:thumbsdow

I would like to proceed by filing a formal police report with the local authorities charging Harry Baz and Angela Caiz (her bank account was used to receive funds) with fraud. I am not sure what the dollar amount is for a felony in California, but the $12K or so that Harry might have collected for three sets of rims could qualify. This isn't your typical dollar ninety eight eBay scam. Since Harry used the internet to communicate, perhaps U.S. Postal Inspectors might be interested too. Then Harry would have Federal charges on top of state to answer to.

The three of us who paid Harry for wheels but have yet to receive them need to connect up to share information (date funds were sent, specific items to be received, etc.). I will be tickled to take the lead on this and create as much grief for Mr. Baz as I can if Rick and the other FGT owner who got skinned by Harry would contact me by e-mail so I can get their info and start the legal ball rolling. My e-mail address is <donald.silawsky@gmail.com>.

:frown So sorry to hear that this has happened for all involved. Got to be very careful who you send money to these days. It really bothers me to hear these types stories as I have been the one taken advantage of before and I know how it feels. Good luck guys!! :thumbsup . Hope this all ends up being a misunderstanding in the end. Hope this Harry Baz guy pops up somewhere.... :confused

Guys,

I very NEARLY sent money to Harry for a set of wheels - but my car deal fell through at the last minute so I decided to wait until I had a physical car (in case I ended up with a different colour than planned!).

I spoke to Harry at the time (it was last year during SEMA) - he was in Vegas and sounded really DESPERATE for the money to be transferred??? (Gave me some line of there being problems with his other "investors")

Did anyone get a resolution to this? Problem is......I really still like these rims for the car - they are my favourite - any way to get them from anyone else??? What about Grennaldi??

OK. It's a real shame as these were the rims I had set my heart on!

We need to find a way of getting one of the reputable wheel manufacturers to replicate them!

I bet HRE could do them if they had the dimensions and pictures!

I took a close friend of mine to BONY's memorial, many of you met him. Craig owns a very high end machine shop and I am now looking for a low mileage Blue/White GT for him to purchase. On the way back from the memorial we all met up at a gas station and discussed Rick's wheels. I explained the Harry Bazz wheel situation and he told me that he can make the GTX1 wheel part with no problems. He did indicate that we would have to find the wheel ring/cylinder to match it up to. The beauty of this approach is that we can make them in any size.

I can start up this project if there is enough interest.

I could donate a wheel. If there is one thing I would change, it would be the weight. These things are HEAVY.

Rick, give me a call and we'll go see Craig together.
