I can't wait for his review (he's suggesting it's not til next week?), but in the interim, he gave us this. And it's almost as good as watching the vid. The man can drive, and the man can write. I was enthralled reading it.

I'm 5% skeptical about how positive all the reviews are just because the British auto media are such big homers. That said, the P1 definitely appears to be the real deal. More than one person has now stated unequivocally that it's a different planet than the 918 (high praise), and it seems hard to believe the FalalalalaFerrari will beat it. It will be an epic showdown though.

A decade ago people were saying it was the end of performance cars. Now, the performance gulf between a car like the P1 and an Enzo is absolutely immense. I would absolutely love to drive one.

Can't wait for the Harris video.

Edit - you're probably watching on BBC America, in which case, yes, you're right. The best part of that show wasn't the P1 though, it was the gorgeous little Alfa 4C.

Those flames ARE amazing. Wow, the more I see this car, the more I lust over it. And when I see vids of it in motion, it just gets better looking! Hard to believe the amount of performance that this and the LAF can bring to the road. The 918 too. These cars are in another league.
