Thank you for all of the birthday wishes. I was actually out of town on my birthday. I flew one of my best friends to Houston in my Cirrus to pick up a brand-new custom built Red Bull air race aircraft. We flew to Houston on March 19, spent the my entire birthday, March 20, test flying the aircraft and resolving some minor issues, and then flew it to San Diego today. I think a lot of our motorhead members would be interested in a photo spread and write up of this project. I'll put it together and post it sometime this week.

Some preliminary specs.

Aircraft empty weight without fuel--1235 pounds
Air frame construction material--all carbon fiber (Bony would love this thing!)
Horsepower--365
Powerplant--Lycoming flat six-540 C.I.-fuel injected
Roll rate--over 500° per second
Load limits--+/- 15 Gs
