I bought one of these a few years back. Saw it demo'd somewhere, thought it was cool. Never really used it much, but I needed it again a few days ago and dug it out. Produces a perfectly even clamping pressure on about about any size hose. Then of course I needed instructions on how to use it again.Enjoy.

Cool indeed.
However, that application would seem to be pretty difficult to do with your hose installed to your engine or vehicle, no?

And of course using thin wire isn't optimal either, doesn't have the large flat surface of a standard hose clamp....but still interesting......

actually, come to think of it, I guess I'd never really use this on a vehicle for fear of cutting the hose......

Doesn't look all that practical for automotive use, particularly in tight spaces.
Similar concept to the Dall-Miles cabling system used in orthopaedic surgery.

Oh well, I like it. It's been really handy a time or two.

I bet it has. With the right application it's a winner.
