“Expected 2300 New FGT’s“. WTF? Just read this in the Hagerty rag last night.

Not a very accurate article. I am positive there were no $139,000 05 GT’s produced. And like AJ said there are not going to be 2,300 new models built. Just another person filling page space.

Actually, if I remember correctly, a 2005 no option car had a sticker of $139K. There was a $10K increase that began July 1, 2005. Early 4 option cars stickered at $159 K.

Colin is quite full of himself.

My sticker shows a base price of $139,995.00 as of 4/26/051D0413E0-00AD-4600-BD70-1D15BF14AD70.jpeg

Yes, a friend forwarded me the article as well and it is good to see the average prices and number sold at auctions! Now if my other investments will just come back!!!!

We had a big thread on that a few months ago, here's a good place to jump in to see some results:

While maybe a little squirrely on some details (another one, the 0-60 time is WAY lower than "less than 4 seconds"....which implies something more like 3.9 rather than what it really is), the guy did hit on a number of points I agree with (pure driving experience without driver aids, had no direct successor, the continuing freshness of the design).

Another factor is IMO, it is the last significant car of it's type that will ever be made.

Agree. Probably a typo. Maybe he meant 1300, as I was led to believe the total was planned at 1350.
