I would like to thank Jack and his staff at Muscle Motors for doing another excellent job on the second round of upgrades on my Heritage GT. Their professionalism is top notch and they go out of their way to make certain the job is not just done, but done carefully and accurately. I often get asked for a list of my upgrades ($35,000), so here is what we have so far:

Whipple Supercharger Upgrade w/ MAF i.a. & NGK TR6’s
Accufab 75mm Dual Blade Throttle Body
Accufab Air Inlet Support
Ford Racing Rear exit Headers, “jet-hot” extreme temp ceramic coated
SCT XCalibrator 2 with custom tune by MMP
Ford Racing Transaxle Cooler Kit
Ford Racing Short Throw Shifter & Knob/Sleeve
Ford Racing Two-Piece Front & Rear Rotor Sets
K&N Air Filters
T&A Shocks Lowering Kit, adjusted ride height
Polished Gas Lid and Side Handles, clear coated
Powder coated rear springs to matching orange
Powder coated centers on light weight alloy wheels to matching orange with the lips and entire inside of the wheel behind the centers polished and clear coated
Powder coated brake calipers to matching light blue body color
Ford racing Billet Oil Fill Cap
Ford Racing Billet Coolant Caps (2)
Ford Racing Coil Pack Covers
Front bumper, headlights, rocker panels and all leading edges on the mirrors, side air intakes, and behind wheels covered with protective film
GTSaver Engine Light - blue
Ford GT Seat covers with custom foam inserts
Lloyd Floor Mats in black with “FORD GT” embroidered in orange
Matching sticker set to the #6 1969 Le Mans winning car
Covercraft Form-fit car cover

I will likely change the tires to Hoosiers at the first opportunity, as the Goodyears just aren’t sticky enough since the Whipple upgrade. I also have a set of lug nuts on the way from Derry.

A new time machine...

What a setup! I can smell the rubber from my house, 10 miles away!:biggrin
That engine light must look awesome with the heritage paint scheme.

Now I'm really jealous...

I like (amongst many other things) the polished fuel/gas cap.

Who supplies those?

Gulf -- your car looks great and I'll bet it's a strong runner. Your retro Heritage car would also look right with the rear bumper delete (since there is seemingly no end to mods and I'm spending your $)! :cheers

Jay (analogdesigner), the light is great. Looks cool with the polished blower.

Neilda, no one supplies the polished pieces, they have to be removed & reinstalled. Very labor intensive, but worth it.

KJD & SLF360, I wanted to remove the bumper months ago, and we spent some time exploring it. Decided to wait until a kit came out that was proven, which looks like that is currently happening. However, there is a slight problem if you're running the rear exit headers. The tips stick well out the back, and unlike the regular Borla or stock, there really isn't a good place to cut them down. That will have to be worked out, or just let it look like a "rocket" car.

SLF360, I have spent a fair amount of time agonizing over which wheels to do. Decided I like the look and idea of having every speed upgrade offered by Ford for now. I have discussed doing a set of the standard wheels just to have and change out from time to time though.

Bony, dyno sheet coming.

Thanks, David.

Gulf, Can you provide details of the polished gas filler cap ... procedure, source, etc. To me, the OEM panel is the only weak prominent exterior feature on the car. Should never have been flimsy painted plastic that feels like it's gonna break everytime you fill up, rather machined and polished billet aluminum like racing caps on the original GT40. Ford could have just added $50 bucks to the MSRP ... who would have complained for such an upgrade. Or it could have been option #5.

MGW, LTD. ... are you reading this? Could be an addition to your excellent polished billet aluminum coolant and oil caps. usmcfred

Now I want the Heritage GT over a blue one. Looks amazing. Let us know your quarter mile time if you take it down the track.

Ah... and... What’s your avatar? I had dozens of em lined up, we had to pick for weeks between which girl would be our "Avatar" girl. I put on my velvet robe and used that close up round glass thing to look at literally hundreds of photographs. I had the pipe, but I didn't inhale. Blue huh? Better get a "Gulf" in you want a lot of "muff" (mulf didn't rime).:biggrin
