Very interesting car. There’s a lot going on in the interior. Maybe that turned a few folks off?

Agree. Don't like the gold. Makes it appear busier than it really is.

Are these 30 part of the 4038?

^^^Yes.

Bernard Guerin engineered the butterfly door hinges, reverse opening clamshell, and golf club bag sized trunk.

This car is a huge crowd pleaser at shows. The John Player livery isn't to everyone's taste I'm sure, but it is unique and well done. The autograph collection is amazing.

Yes. The GTX conversion was post-title.

Why do you want Michael Andretti and Tony Kanaan signatures on a FGT?

I like a lot of it (Wheels) but it seems somebody didn't know when to say stop.

For some of us, when to say stop is before the roof is chopped off.

As they (roketman) say, there's an ass for every seat.

Didn't Hertz used to rent that one out?

Agreed

Yup, another axiom is money doesn't buy you taste. :biggrin

I think its a GT350H tribute, not JPS. Seen this car a lot at rallies, it’s beautifully-done

After seeing some of them up close (not necessarily this car) the level of craftsmanship leaves something to be desired...

I like it! A little over the top on the interior but overall well done.Only thing i would change is the tinted head and fog lights.

I have driven 3 of them. They are very cool but do not drive like the solid roof cars.
But, I still want one!

We were all set on making a solid offer on it, then did a history check. Accidents hurt these cars bad. Its pretty cool in person and clean. It needs to be toned down a little on the interior and I wish the headlights and taillights werent tinted. The headlights being done so dark is a safety issue as well and less light transfer.

A "Smoky and the Bandit" Trans Am angry chicken would fit perfectly on the hood.

I agree. Why not get Barbara Streisand to sign it while you’re at it too?

The rarity lies in the fact that no car has ever had this many signatures that did not include Richard Petty.

True. Confirmed Petty is missing. You can make out most of them on this alphabetical list. Including the world famous celebrity idol, Mark McGowan and lesser luminaries like Camilo Pardo .

The car may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but Steve is a good guy who drives and shares the car. People love it at the shows.
