Since my post I signed up to Barret Jackson and was able to look up results, wanted to research pricing history of Cobras for past 20 years, seems look up auction year and location and scroll to 1500's to find Saturday night cars? I also signed up to Hagerty to get valuations service, any other suggestions?

If I may ask regarding trouble getting over 1m for an original 427 Cobra, how do you look up results for 427 Cobras? How many sold either 289 or 427 Cobras and what price? appreciate it.

There is a great app named “hammer price”, which makes it very easy to search for auction results of specific makes/models of cars.
