Tim:
Did you have a gun in your hand? I recently passed on TP 17 GT350 @$500 UNDER list, but the Rs around here are still $20G over.

Yes, it's New Jersey, "cement overshoes", "sleep with the fishes", all that stuff...

When the GT350 came out they were $5K+ ADM. The dealership I go to sold their first one for $5K ADM. I can guarantee you that both the GT350 & GT350R will be below MSRP if you wait.

That's exactly what I'm doing, playing the waiting game (don't know for how long my patience will let me), So. Cali Ford dealers are still way up there on the GT350:

Can you imagine the market adjustment sticker if the dealer priced the NFGT ??

No kidding! It's interesting to hear the dealer's opinions. The dealer Who sold me the 350R has four Ford stores. I spoke with a number of their management people. I am amazed at how little they knew about the new FGT.

$100-200K I bet, but then many would be in the hands of investors & not enthusiasts. Ford had a great idea on how to avoid this. But the quantity of GT350s that will be made won't allow dealers to charge unfair ADMs forever.

When the '05-06 GTs came out Ford distributed a pamphlet for the dealers to use (not the "Dealer Handbook" for sales staff) to help guide them on who will buy the GT. One part recommends to not add ADM or crazy ADMs as it has been shown that you will not create a loyal customer that will buy more from you or will refer others to you. I'm sure many dealers threw that pamphlet away!

Sent you a PM Jerry. Great to have another ATL GT owner on the forum.

Hey BtwoG,
Haven't been on the Forum for a few years. Just picked up a new 05 GT and hopped back on the site. I saw your posting for a GT350R and you are from Atlanta..... I had one tied up at our Ford store in Chamblee (Hennessy Ford) until I found another GT. I run our Honda store in Woodstock the past 24 years. If I can help with one closer to MSRP, let me know and I'll refer you to our GM at the Ford store.
Take care,
Jerry

So true, not to mention the ignorance and arrogance of some of the sales staff.
