I am trying to confirm which of the following should be included in the delivery of new Ford GTs:

Car cover with bag
Trickle charger
Car wax--special for Ford finish
GT book sent to dealers--hardcover
anything else?

Who told you that a trickle charge and special wax were included?

As to wax any decent/good wax is perfectly suitable.

I think all that has been confirmed in sealed trunks delivered to owners are

car cover
trickle charger
sealant, air compressor, tow hook
front license plate frame

The portfolio book seems to be handed to a few owners by the dealer at the time of delivery, but not included in the trunk

The wax may be a mythical internet rumor?
 
A trickle charger to me is a battery charger. If you mean the air compressor for inflating tires that is totally different and included.
 
I got the battery charger with mine in a small black zippered bag inside the larger bag containing the car cover.
The charger is the kind that plugs into the cigarette lighter (or accessory).
 
RACER X IS THE ONE WHO RECIEVED THE WAX. IF YOU LOOK THROUGH THE GT DEALERS PAMPHLET ,ITS BASICALLY FORD PROTECTIVE WAX, WHITE AND BLUE STRIPE BOTTLE. I KNOW RACER X 20 YEARS ITS CONFIRMED. GTJOEY MEQUIRES REALLY WORKS GREAT THOUGH. :biggrin

It isn't a battery charger but part of a flat tire kit. It's the plug in compressor for your tires if one goes flat while you are on the road. Also inside is the towing bracket and a can of goop to seal a leak in a tire.

Battery Charger

These guys aren't just confused about the inflation kit. My car also came with a small trickle charger for the battery. It plugs into a wall outlet on one side and into the accessory outlet to charge the battery. I think I posted the part number on the thread for the Portfolio book (which I still never received) in "GT Tech".

Mine had all but the wax... I bought some great Ford GT stuff with the gift card left in the glove compartment also.
 
There is a glove box? Where & how do you get into it?

The battery charger comes in a small bag in the trunk.

Use a screwdriver and force...., just kidding, there are no closed compartments that I know of.

mine had the charger, but not the wax... Nor the gift card, maybe overlooked

I guess meguiar does the job anyhow..
 
Not sure about the wax but the gift card was a joke. sorry, just trying to be funny.
 
Mine had the car cover and the tyre inflation device. That was it - nothing else...
 
Mine also came with the Car Cover and Charger.

NEILDA, do you think they didn't ship the charger because of the voltage in the UK?
 
As it was privately shipped, I doubt it. I suspect somebody was trophy hunting!
